Fancy Cable Stitch Knitting Free Pattern

How to knit the Fancy Cable Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 10 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 13 stitches (10 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all stitches as they appear.

The pattern repeat = 10 stitches wide.

Begin with 1 edge stitch, work patt rep throughout, end with 1 stitch after patt rep and 1 edge stitch.

Abbreviation:

k: Knit

p: Purl

C4F: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to front, K2, K2 from cable needle

C4B: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to back, K2, K2 from cable needle

Row 1 (right side): Purl.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): work each stitch as it appears on this side of work (k the k sts and p the p sts).
